“Heroes Reborn Part 1”

In "Heroes Reborn Part 1," the Exiles arrive on a world reshaped by the Heroes Reborn event, where Proteus—posing as Morph—tries to win over the Young Allies with a convincing act of redemption. Written by Tony Bedard and illustrated by Jim Calafiore, with inks by Mark McKenna, colors by Tom Chu, and letters by Dave Sharpe, the issue builds tension as the Exiles' arrival shatters the illusion, revealing Proteus's true intentions. The cover by Jim Calafiore and Mark McKenna captures the moment of confrontation, just as Heather in the crystal palace loses contact with her team.

Proteus, in Morph's body, arrives on the Heroes Reborn world and tries to establish himself as a good guy to the Young Allies and warns that his evil enemies are chasing him. The facade is short lived, however, once the Exiles arrive and Proteus reveals his true colors. The Rip shows up and whisks Proteus away just as Heather in the crystal palace loses contact with her Exiles team.
