“Taking on Tanaraq”

Exiles #58 brings writer Tony Bedard and artist Mizuki Sakakibara together for "Taking on Tanaraq," and the cover makes a vivid case for what's at stake. A powerfully built figure in a yellow-and-blue costume squares off against a massive, flame-wreathed creature amid shattered rubble, while a pink-skinned, pink-haired woman in a green hoodie braces herself in the foreground — the tension crackling across every corner of Sakakibara's dynamic composition. If this dimensional-hopping team's multiversal adventures are new to you, issue #58 is a perfectly charged entry point into the chaos.
