The second volume of Exile plunges deeper into its dark, atmospheric world with the chapter titled "Kayenn." The cover, by Éric Stalner, is immediately arresting: a pale, wide-eyed figure sits enthroned amid a tangle of massive black tendrils, flanked by two glowing red orbs that pulse against a murky, ochre-tinged gloom. It's a genuinely unsettling image — Florence Fantini's coloring gives the whole scene a sickly, otherworldly warmth that makes the darkness feel alive.
