Two armored explorers press deeper into a dense, alien jungle teeming with enormous tentacled creatures and lush, otherworldly vegetation that seems almost alive with menace — it's a striking opening image for Exile. This first volume, subtitled "Koïos," launches Éric Stalner's sci-fi adventure series from Glénat in 2018 with confident, richly detailed linework brought to vivid life by Florence Fantini's lush, atmospheric coloring. If you're drawn to stories of small figures venturing into vast, unknowable worlds, this is a very promising place to start.
