Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan #124
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeAgainst a blazing orange-red sky, George Wilson's cover painting plunges you straight into the action: Tarzan, spear in hand, rides atop a massive lizard-like creature while another rider does the same beside him, the two pressing their reptilian mounts against a wave of similarly mounted warriors near a stone wall. The cover tagline — "Tarzan turns enemies into allies to fight a savage horde!" — sets the stage perfectly for the story within, written by Gaylord Du Bois with interior art by Jesse Marsh. Dell's 1961 adventure comics don't get much more thrilling than this, and as a bonus, the issue announces a big Dell Comics contest with prizes up for grabs.
