“The Star Wars Adventure, Book Three: The Last Jedi”

This third and final chapter of "Star Wars as seen by Droids" puts C-3PO and R2-D2 front and center — quite literally caught in the crossfire, as two large gloved hands from either side of the cover level weapons at the golden protocol droid while a blinding energy burst erupts between them. Ernie Colón's cover perfectly captures the pair's endearing dynamic: Threepio rattles off a stammering speech bubble while Artoo answers with his own enthusiastic "VREE-TWEERRP!" from just behind. It's a fun, droid's-eye-view wrap-up to the trilogy, published under Marvel's Star Comics imprint in 1987 with the full creative team of Dave Manak, Al Williamson, George Roussos, and Ed King bringing the galaxy far, far away to life inside.
