Doom Patrol #14

Jan 2003 · DC · 2.50 USD; 4.25 CAD
“Over… …Done”

In "Over… …Done," the Doom Patrol—still inhabiting their aged, past selves—break from the present and fly to Paris to confront the Brotherhood of Evil, only to find themselves abruptly returned to the present, now in their current forms. As Cliff wanders the park, an old man delivers a quiet revelation: only Cliff was meant to journey back, to finally see that he’s not the relic he believes himself to be. Written by Arcudi and illustrated with haunting precision by Seth Fisher, with colors by Dave Stewart and letters by Bob Lappan, the cover by Tan Eng Huat captures the moment’s quiet weight.

The Doom Patrol, still in the bodies of the old Doom Patrol, decide they're in the past. Flying to Paris, they invade the Brotherhood of Evil's lair and defeat them. Suddenly they are all back in the present, in their normal bodies. In the park, Cliff is told by the old man that only he was supposed to return to the past to help him realize he really has changed and that he is not the relic he thinks he is.
