Doom Patrol #10
In "Hearts & Minds," John Byrne crafts a poignant, character-driven chapter of Doom Patrol, exploring legacy and identity as the team confronts a crisis tied to a mysterious past. When Nudge and Vortex flee with Grunt—the reformed Henry Bucher—after stealing him from Gambol, their escape leads them to a haunting childhood room, where the past and present collide in unexpected ways. The story, illustrated with emotional precision by Byrne and brought to life with expressive inks by Doug Hazlewood, delves into memory, loss, and the fragile bonds between minds and bodies.
