“Strange Bedfellows”

This 1992 Infinity War crossover issue of Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme promises "the most magical team-up of all time," and the cover by Geof Isherwood delivers on that billing — Doctor Strange surges forward at center, joined by a striking assemblage that includes the Scarlet Witch, a silver-haired older woman with a cat, a bare-chested long-haired figure, and what appears to be a tentacled alien creature tumbling in the foreground. With Roy Thomas and R.J.M. L'Officier scripting and Isherwood handling both pencils and inks, "Strange Bedfellows" looks like a wonderfully unlikely alliance forged in the heat of Marvel's cosmic event.
