The cover of this May 1991 issue says it all: Doctor Strange surges forward with both hands outstretched and the Cloak of Levitation billowing dramatically behind him, while ghostly, grasping figures loom out of a swirling purple darkness all around him — and the bold banner declares "Baron Blood Is Back!" The cover art by Chris Marrinan and Mark McKenna gives Strange a fierce, almost feral energy, perfectly suited to a story titled "Blood Will Tell!" Roy Thomas and Dann Thomas bring their storytelling instincts to a supernatural showdown that promises to push the Sorcerer Supreme to his limits.
