The cover by Chris Bachalo and Jaime Mendoza sets an unsettling, surreal tone: a bare-chested figure labeled "Mendoza" sprints away from a massive, skull-adorned creature with glowing red eyes, while an army of grotesque mushrooms swarms around a crumbling cinema facade. It's a wonderfully weird image that captures Jason Aaron and Bachalo's vision of a Marvel Universe where magic is something genuinely strange and dangerous. "Eaters of Magic" promises exactly the kind of otherworldly threat the title suggests.
