Escaping another of the cult's attacks by mages and the tripartite demon, the Underchild, Doctor Strange is attacked by Topaz, who is under the cult's control. Topaz gets away but Strange captures one of the mages. Magically unable to divulge any information to Strange about the cult, he finally ignites and in his last second of life, Strange is able to learn the cult leader's name - Jonathan White. With this information, he sets out determined to save Topaz and to put an end to cult business. Meanwhile more and more of the citizens are turned into cultists.
