Doctor Aphra steps into the spotlight in issue #9 of her solo series, and Kamome Shirahama's cover makes a striking statement: Aphra herself stands front and center in a sweeping white gown and cape, circuit tattoos visible on her skin, flanked by the sinister dark droid 0-0-0 and a imposing, long-haired alien figure draped in an ornate robe. A radiant starburst grid fills the background, giving the whole composition a grand, almost ceremonial weight. With Kieron Gillen, Kev Walker, Marc Deering, and Antonio Fabela on interior duties, "Doctor Aphra and the Enormous Profit, Part I" promises the galaxy's most resourceful rogue at her most ambitious.
