About the series
Set in the Star Wars galaxy between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, this Marvel series follows the morally flexible archaeologist Chelli Lona Aphra as she dodges debts, deadly droids, and the Empire's attention. Launched by Kieron Gillen and featuring art from Kev Walker, Ashley Witter, and Emilio Laiso, the book quickly became a fan-favorite for its darkly comic tone and breakneck adventure. Co-written later by Si Spurrier, the 40-issue run deepens Aphra's roguish character alongside the towering Wookiee enforcer Black Krrsantan, cementing her as a standout antihero in the galaxy far, far away.
