Kieron Gillen and Kev Walker's Star Wars: Doctor Aphra reaches its twelfth issue with a cover by Kamome Shirahama that captures the series' central tension beautifully — Doctor Aphra, goggled and wide-eyed, nestled within the looming silhouette of Darth Vader's helmet, her figure framed against a star-filled cosmos while his masked visage dominates the foreground.
