Doc Savage #14

Part four of "Sunlight Rising" arrives with a cover by Andy Kubert that crackles with kinetic energy — Doc Savage himself dominates the image, locked in brutal close-quarters combat as bodies and debris fly in every direction against a moonlit urban backdrop. A blonde figure is caught mid-fall beneath him while a second adversary looms in the background, the whole composition conveying the sense of a brawl reaching its chaotic peak. With Barr, Whigham, and Montano driving the interior and Kubert delivering this dynamic November 1989 cover, it's a fine chapter in DC's run with the Man of Bronze.
