“Object from the Sky”

In "Object from the Sky," Jack Kirby delivers a thrilling clash of prehistoric might and alien invasion as a massive spaceship crashes into the Valley of Flame. With gold and blue robotic warriors unleashing flamethrowers and capturing Dinosaurs and cavemen, Devil Dinosaur finds an unlikely ally in Stone-Hand, a gray-furred Hill-Folk warrior, after they team up to take down a robot threatening a Thunder-Horn. Together, they plot their next move against the invaders, setting the stage for a battle of survival. The story’s bold artwork and dynamic storytelling shine, with Kirby’s dynamic pencils and Royer’s inks bringing the action to life, while Joe Sinnott’s cover captures the moment’s intensity.

A huge spaceship lands in the Valley of Flame. The occupants are large gold and blue humanoid robots with flamethrower arms. They begin to ransack the Valley, killing and capturing Dinosaurs and cavemen alike including Moon Boy. Meanwhile Stone-Hand and White-Hair, two members of the Hill-Folk (gray furred cavemen), see Devil Dinosaur attacking one of the robots that was battling a "Thunder-Horn" (Triceratops). Stone-Hand helps Devil Dinosaur destroy the robot winning his trust and becoming allies with him. The threesome then plan on how to defeat the aliens.
