Meanwhile, the Black Canary finds herself entangled with the Calculator, whose dangerous device links her sonic cry to a rising city-wide temperature. Written by Gerry Conway and illustrated by Ernie Chua with inks by Frank McLaughlin and letters by Ben Oda, the cover by Ernie Chua captures the tension of a city on the edge.
