Deathstroke #5

Part of DC's New 52 lineup, this April 2015 issue puts Deathstroke face-to-face — and blade-to-blade — with Harley Quinn in a savage, debris-flying brawl that cover artists Tony S. Daniel and Sandu Florea render with visceral energy. Both combatants are bloodied and fully committed, with Harley brandishing a blade above a battered, sword-wielding Slade Wilson amid a storm of splintered wood and tension. Colorist Tomeu Morey's moody purples and reds give the whole confrontation a bruising, electric atmosphere that makes "Battle Royale" feel like exactly the right title.
