Deadworld #3

Gary Reed and Dalibor Talajić's Deadworld returns with a third issue that makes its intentions unmistakably clear. Vince Locke's cover renders a grotesque, greenish creature crouching over a blood-soaked ground littered with bones, one clawed hand raised to brandish a human skull while a whip-like tail curls behind it — all rendered with an unsettling painterly detail that's hard to look away from. If this 2006 Image/Desperado series hasn't been on your radar yet, this cover alone is a compelling argument to change that.
