Deadpool #40

Deadpool #40 takes a satirical swing at the energy industry with "The Magic of Gracking," and the comic-strip-style cover by Scott Koblish lays out the absurdity in three gloriously chaotic panels. We see Deadpool pitching fracking to a cold, bundled-up family — then schmoozing with suited fat cats behind a desk stacked with cash — then brawling in the street as money flies and a mystery silhouette teases a special celebrity guest. Duggan, Posehn, Koblish, and Staples are clearly having a fantastic time skewering corporate energy hype through Marvel's most unpredictable mercenary.
