The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" wraps up its five-part finale here, with Declan Shalvey's cover painting a quietly unsettling picture: a small, crouching Deadpool in the lower corner, dwarfed by a tangle of wires and cables from which float dozens of green-tinted portrait cards depicting a range of Marvel heroes and villains — Captain America, Loki, Thor, and many more among them. The composition has a strange, almost clinical feel, as if someone has been cataloguing the Marvel Universe for purposes that can't be good. Posehn, Duggan, Shalvey, and Bellaire brought real craft to this 2014 run, and this closing chapter promises a suitably weighty payoff.
