Deadpool #26
Deadpool goes full noir gangster on Phil Noto's stylish cover for issue #26, with the Merc with a Mouth decked out in a fedora and suit, tommy gun in hand, while a one-eyed man in a sharp grey suit levels a pistol nearby and an armored, gun-toting figure descends from above — all set against the looming, wide-eyed face of what appears to be a very alarmed villain. The story title, "Death Comes to Tinseltown (Or The Last Hitler)," hints at some wonderfully unhinged mayhem ahead, courtesy of writers Posehn and Duggan with art by Scott Koblish and colors by Val Staples. It's a genuinely fun package — pulpy, chaotic, and very much on-brand for everyone's favorite regenerating degenerate.
