Deadpool goes full parade marshal on this 2014 milestone issue, strutting across the cover in a top hat and full regalia, blowing a party horn while confetti and streamers explode around him — a "Happy 25th" sash completing the celebratory absurdity. Mark Brooks renders the whole scene in a gorgeous, vintage-poster style that nods to early 20th-century illustration, giving Wade Wilson's chaotic energy an oddly dignified flair. With Posehn, Duggan, Hawthorne, and Bellaire on the creative team, "Deadpool vs. S.H.I.E.L.D. Part 5.Now" promises a landmark chapter delivered with the irreverent wit this series does so well.
