“If Looks Could Kill!”

In "If Looks Could Kill!", Deadpool stumbles into a violent clash between old allies and dangerous foes when Black Tom’s deteriorating condition sparks a prison raid by Juggernaut, who steals the specialist treating him. Just as Deadpool is overwhelmed by Tom’s goons, he’s rescued by Banshee and his daughter, Siryn—only to face a shocking moment when his healing factor fails and his hand is severed. Written by Mark Waid and illustrated by Ian Churchill, with dynamic inks by Jason Minor and vibrant colors by Dana Moreshead and Mike Thomas, this 1994 issue blends chaotic action with personal stakes, all framed by Ian Churchill’s cover art and Bud LaRosa’s inks.
