Dazzler reclines with effortless confidence on this striking 1983 cover, bathed in a luminous halo of her own light-based power as swirling energy billows around her blonde hair. Bill Sienkiewicz's painterly cover work gives her bold checkered outfit and cool blue tights an almost dreamlike quality, perfectly at odds with the tension the story title "Fugitive" promises. It's a beautifully composed image — serene on the surface, with an undercurrent of unease that makes you want to flip straight to the first page.
