Moses Magnum has escaped and is at large thanks to a ploy by Norman Osborn to make Daken look good in the press but, much to Osborn's chagrin, his Wolverine loses a battle with the villain and his small band of rescuers. When Emmy realizes that Osborn has set them up, she tries to get dirt on him to blackmail him for their future surivival. Emmy accepts a deal that will place her along with Magnum, Cutthroat and the Inquisitor into protective custody but Norman, true to his duplicitous nature, sends Daken out to finish the job he started.
