Daredevil Epic Collection #17
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis Epic Collection volume picks up Daredevil's adventures from the late 1990s, featuring storylines by writers like Joe Kelly and Karl Kesel, with art by various creators. It collects issues from the series' run during a transitional period, including the 'Into the Fire' arc that sees Matt Murdock facing personal and professional turmoil while battling new and familiar foes in Hell's Kitchen. The volume also includes the 'Daredevil/Deadpool Annual '97' and other tie-in material from that era.
In "Hot Flashes," writer Jim Starlin and artist Joe Chiodo deliver a chilling, high-stakes thriller as the Black Widow is sent by Nick Fury to track a killer targeting SHIELD psi-agents—only to vanish into a nightmare. Daredevil shadows her, but when both are captured, Natasha awakens in a remote cabin, trapped in a psychological and physical fight for survival against the sadistic duo of psychic vampire Rosie and the brutal serial killer Charlie. With haunting visions of Rosie’s past and a desperate struggle to reclaim her mind, the Widow must fight not just for her life, but for her very identity. The cover by John Romita Jr. and Al Williamson captures the tension perfectly.
