Daredevil #5 (617)
In "Know Fear Part 5," Daredevil faces a brutal test of will as his fight with Krush turns deadly, leaving him overwhelmed and captured. The Defenders arrive to help, but Matt’s journey takes a personal turn when he awakens to Danny’s care—and a chilling confrontation with Spider-Man in his own apartment. Written by Chip Zdarsky and illustrated by Marco Checchetto, with colors by Sunny Gho and letters by VC's Clayton Cowles, this issue captures Matt Murdock at his most vulnerable, as the weight of his choices begins to pull him apart. The cover by Julian Totino Tedesco perfectly frames the tension of a man on the edge.
