Matt visits Foggy in his offices to discuss Leo Carraro's death, now considered murder at Matt's hands. Foggy wants Matt to turn himself in, but Matt thinks this is Fisk's work. Dr. Moffat confirms the death did not match Daredevil's work. Was Matt careless or did someone get to Carrara first? Cole and Higgins visit and size up Fisk, and instead, it's Fisk who gets under Cole's skin. Fisk wonders privately what's happening to Matt, but Matt hears him. Matt spends the rest of the day trying to work as DD and think about the crime scene, but gets caught flatfooted and is shot by Cole.
