Still recovering from a near-death experience, and after a one-night stand, Matt tries to find his mental footing while on patrol on Hell's Kitchen. After nearly succumbing to three robbers in an alley, he accidentally fatally injures one of the men. Fisk, who is now the new mayor, is hunting Daredevil and has brought in police resources from Chicago to disrupt the local police complacency with Matt's style of vigilantism.
