This issue contains two stories. "Jailbreak Genius" depicts a prison break orchestrated by criminals who use a fire as cover to escape, though their plan is ultimately thwarted when the old warden sacrifices himself to prevent their exit through a gas chamber. "Return Ticket" follows Steve Murdock, an ex-convict who obtains a gun from a dead mail truck driver and plans to use it to reunite with his partner Marty Boyd in New York, but the law closes in as news of his escape spreads. A third story fragment shows a domestic scene involving characters named Victor, Mr. Cole, and Miss Elston, with Victor appearing injured and Mr. Cole portrayed as threatening.
