Creeps #3

Tom Mandrake's cover for this February 2002 Image horror title delivers an immediately unsettling image: a grotesque, goggle-eyed figure peering through a barely-opened door, a gleaming knife clutched in hand. The weathered, decayed look of both the figure and the door frame perfectly captures the grimy dread that Creeps promises. With Dan Mishkin writing and Mandrake handling full interior art alongside colorist Frank M. Cuonzo, this third issue looks like a solid entry in one of Image's more atmospheric horror offerings of the era.
