Creeps #4

Tom Mandrake's cover for this May 2002 Image series delivers a genuinely unsettling cluster of monstrous figures — a knife-wielding, fang-toothed central figure tangled up with rotting, goggle-eyed ghouls, a wild-haired creature, and a hulking pale brute looming from above, all pressed together in a suffocating pile of grotesque energy. The mossy, dripping logo sets the tone perfectly for a horror anthology that clearly isn't pulling any punches. Creeps #4 is a solid addition to Image's darker corner of early-2000s horror comics.
