“Chapter One: Venus Bound!”

In "Chapter One: Venus Bound!", Cosmo the Merry Martian and his friend Orbi find themselves stranded on the Moon with the peculiar Moonlings—each named Oog—until Professor Thimk, Astra, and the loyal dog JoJo arrive in a Martian ship to rescue them. But their journey isn’t over yet: a detour to Venus is in order, and two Moonlings plus the mysterious Gillywump from the Dark Side of the Moon have stowed away. Written by Sy Reit and brought to life with playful energy by artist Bob White—whose dynamic pencils and inks define the cover and interior—this 1959 adventure blends whimsy and interplanetary charm in a 10-cent comic that’s a delight for fans of classic Archie sci-fi.
