Arthur Adams's cover for issue #249 splits the action beautifully: on the left, Red Sonja and Zula clash against a horde of savage demons amid chaos and clawed creatures, while on the right, a terrified blonde woman recoils from the looming, green-robed horror of Thugra Khotan — exactly as the cover copy promises. Roy Thomas scripts the interior "Red Wind" story, brought to life by penciler Mike Docherty and inker Ernie Chan, making this 1991 Marvel done-in-one a satisfying sword-and-sorcery package.
