Conan the Barbarian #204

Marvel's long-running sword-and-sorcery series charges into issue #204 with a cover by Geof Isherwood that puts Conan front and center, sword raised against a snarling, monstrous goblin creature that fills the foreground with bared fangs and clawed hands. A red-haired woman in blue armor stands ready behind him, dagger in hand, as the stone walls of some grim dungeon close in around the trio. With the story titled "Goblin!" and a creative team including writer Jim Owsley and artist Val Semeiks, this March 1988 entry looks like a tense, action-packed chapter in the Cimmerian's endless battles against the dark things of the Hyborian Age.
