Part two of "The Corsairs and the Crown" arrives in December 1994, and Earl Norem's painted cover sets the nautical stakes immediately — a powerfully built Conan braces himself against a ship's rigging amid churning arctic seas, while a dark-haired woman in fur-trimmed garments and at least one other figure cling to the vessel behind him, icy crags looming in the background. Roy Thomas, John Buscema, and Ernie Chan bring the sword-and-sorcery storytelling, making this a fine chapter in one of Marvel's most enduring barbarian series.
