Conan Saga #50

In "Incident in Argos!" from *Conan Saga* #50, Conan and his companions arrive in Messantia only to clash with the city’s arrogant Royal Guard. The story follows Conan’s desperate escape from the courthouse, where he confronts the tyrannical judge Ephemero Portus, before riding out of the city alone.

In "Queen of the Black Coast!", Conan flees Messantia’s justice only to find himself aboard a ship bound for the unknown south, where fate delivers him into the hands of the fierce pirate queen Bêlit and her Black Corsairs. Forced to fight the warrior Odongo for his life, Conan’s victory earns him not just survival, but Bêlit’s admiration—and a place at her side as her second-in-command.
