Conan Classic #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMarvel's Conan Classic #4 brings back "The Tower of the Elephant!" with a cover by Barry Windsor-Smith that crackles with tension — Conan strains against the clawed limbs of a massive, dark-furred beast amid a glowing web-like grid, while a terrified woman in red recoils below and a treasure chest spills jewels across the foreground. The composition captures everything that made Hyborian-Age adventure so compelling in the 1990s: sword raised, stakes enormous, and the Cimmerian very much in the thick of it. Interior art from Barry Smith, inked by Sal Buscema and colored by Marie Severin and Stan Goldberg, makes this a fine showcase of the creative team that helped define Conan's comic book legacy.
