Freed by Hathar’s aging father, Conan now endures life within the castle’s shadow, surrounded by a pack of bloodthirsty apes—until he leads them in a daring revolt to rescue the princess. Written by Charles Dixon and Henrik Hårdråde, with art by Gary Kwapisz and inks by Ernie Chan, this 1997 Semic issue features a striking cover by Bob Larkin.

Conan eskorterar en prinsessa till hennes bröllop och övernattar i lord Hathars kråkslott. Hathar vill åt prinsessans hemgift och fängslar Conan, som dock befrias av Hathars far. Han lever nu under slottet med en flock blodtörstiga apor. Tillsammans leder de aporna mot Hathar och befriar prinsessan.
