Collana Art Collection Nuova Serie Tarzan #2
In "Il ritorno di Tarzan," the legendary ape man is cast adrift by Russian spies, only to return to the heart of the African jungle where he rises as chief of the Waziri tribe. Amidst ancient ruins and hidden dangers, he uncovers the fabled city of Opar, plundering its gold before fate brings him face to face with Jane Porter, stranded and in need of rescue. Their reunion sparks a journey of survival and devotion, deepening the bond between two souls lost in the wild.
In "I gorilla alla riscossa," Tarzan and Jane race to find their missing son Jack after he’s kidnapped, only to be captured themselves by the villainous Nikolas Rokoff. Stranded on a remote island, Tarzan teams up with a loyal friend named Mugambi and the jungle’s wild inhabitants to break free and track down Rokoff’s boat—where he finds Jane holding her ground against Rokoff’s men with nothing but a rifle. With help from the animals he calls friend, Tarzan brings Rokoff’s schemes to an end, leading to a heartfelt reunion with Jack, who was never in danger—just misplaced in an English orphanage all along.
In "Il figlio di Tarzan," a young man raised in the world of men discovers a deep calling to the jungle, drawn by memories of a forgotten past. With the help of Akut, he learns the ways of the apes and finds a life among the wild, where he rescues a girl who becomes his companion. As their bond grows, fate pulls them apart—until a perilous journey leads them back toward each other, testing their courage and revealing a hidden truth that changes everything.
In "Il Tesoro di Opar 1’ parte," Tarzan, injured and stripped of his memory after looting gold from the lost city of Opar, is manipulated by Werper, who steals his pouch of jewels. With the Waziri believing him dead, they learn that Achmet Zek has captured Jane and begin their pursuit. Meanwhile, Tarzan, taken by the Beast-Men of Opar, breaks free, forces their submission to La, and sets out on a quest for his "pretty pebbles."
In "E’ in gioco un tesoro! 2’ parte," Tarzan races through the jungle to save Werper, then Jane, from a perilous trap. As the treasure of Opar is uncovered, Werper steals the jewels and flees into the wild—only to meet a grim end. From his remains, Tarzan retrieves the lost gems, bringing the hunt to a close.
