Cobra #16

Aug 2012 · IDW · 3.99 USD

In Cobra #16 (2012), the aftermath of a brutal attack leaves Chameleon reeling as they interrogate Firefly, uncovering the dangerous presence of Blacklight—someone who claims the mainframe is already destroyed before vanishing. Meanwhile, in Zurich, Lady Jaye, Billy, and Ronin are ambushed by Blacklight, resulting in his death, Ronin’s stabbing, and Billy’s critical condition, leaving the Joes to question whether Tomax was behind the assault all along. Written by Mike Costa and illustrated by Antonio Fuso and Werther Dell'Edera, with colors by Arianna Florean and letters by Neil Uyetake, the issue’s cover by Antonio Fuso captures the tension in a stark, shadowed moment.

Chameleon deals with the after affects of the attack as they question Firefly. They find out about Blacklight. He tells them that the mainframe should be fried by now, and escapes. In Zurich, Lady Jaye, Billy, and Ronin are attacked by Blacklight. He is killed, Ronin is stabbed and Billy is shot and left in a coma. The Joes wonder if Tomax orchestrated it all.
