Feb 2017 · Marvel · 34.99 USD; 45.00 CAD
“Cloak and Dagger!”

In "Cloak and Dagger!", the duo faces their inner darkness as Cloak’s hunger spirals unchecked without Dagger’s light to balance him, while Dagger, captured by mobster Uncle Saldino, struggles to control her own power. Written by Bill Mantlo and brought to life by Kerry Gammill’s dynamic art, with inks by George Freeman and colors by Glynis Wein, this 2017 issue captures the fragile equilibrium between light and shadow. The cover, by Rick Leonardi and Terry Austin, hints at the tension between their opposing forces.

Cloak continues his fight against drug pushers but finds his hunger growing out of control without Dagger's light to quell it. Dagger is taken by Jack to a mobster, Uncle Saldino. She awakens and takes down the mobster, but, like Cloak, her powers begin to overwhelm her. Cloak sees her light from a distance, and reunited the two are able to soothe each other's hunger.
