The tagline "They Live Among Us! Beware…" sets an appropriately tense mood for this 1995 Marvel series, and the cover — penciled by Bryan Hitch and inked by Andy Lanning — delivers on that promise with a visceral clash between a green-suited figure and a massive, snarling armored opponent, surrounded by swirling bursts of pink energy. The dynamic composition practically crackles with kinetic force, pulling your eye from the bared teeth of that hulking antagonist straight to the acrobatic fighter pushing back against him. With Glenn Dakin writing and Hitch on interior art as well, ClanDestine #11 looks like a genuinely exciting chapter in one of the more underrated team books Marvel put out in the mid-'90s.
