Civil War: House of M #2
In "Chapter 2: Revolution," Magneto’s crusade takes a devastating turn as he liberates a mutant relocation camp in California, drawing more followers to his cause—including the telepathic Charles Xavier. With the horrors of Genosha’s enslavement laid bare, Magneto confronts the Soviet Super Soldiers, and as Polaris and Xavier fall wounded, he makes a terrifying stand, raising a mountain and threatening to sink the island rather than let mutants remain oppressed. Written by Christos N. Gage and illustrated by Andrea DiVito, with colors by Laura Villari and letters by Dave Sharpe, this pivotal issue sees the stakes rise with a bold, high-tension confrontation. The cover by Mike Perkins captures the moment’s intensity.
