“Taster's Choice, 5 of 5”

In "Taster's Choice, 5 of 5," John Layman and Rob Guillory deliver a pulse-pounding finale to a tense arc as Tony and Mason close in on a dangerous crew of chicken smugglers. What begins as a high-stakes chase spirals into something far darker when Tony is forced to confront a shocking betrayal—Mason’s violent act leaving Tony bloodied and haunted, with a severed ear and a truth he can’t ignore. The story’s raw intensity and Guillory’s distinctive art bring every unsettling moment to life, making this a standout issue in the series.
