Rob Guillory's cover for this fourth chapter of "Family Recipes" sets a wonderfully unsettling dinner-table mood: a blonde woman in an "Eat More Greens" t-shirt sits before a plate occupied by a writhing, tentacled creature with eyes dotting its appendages, fork in hand and expression somewhere between resigned and deeply uncertain. John Layman and Guillory's Chew has always had a gift for making food feel genuinely threatening, and this image captures that spirit perfectly. A great snapshot of the series at its weirdly charming best.
