“Cinderblossom Part One”

Set in a library where silence is clearly optional, this cover by Dan DeCarlo and Henry Scarpelli captures Cheryl Blossom at her most self-assured — striding confidently past a study table while two wide-eyed boys (one buried in a geography book) debate which of Earth's five zones is the hottest, with the obvious answer delivered in a cheerful speech bubble: "The Cheryl Zone!" It's a perfectly playful snapshot of Riverdale's most confident redhead doing what she does best. Issue #20 also kicks off "Cinderblossom Part One," promising a story with some fairy-tale flair from writer and artist Dan Parent.
