Cerebus #93
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA massively built, grimacing figure in a dark superhero costume crouches against a backdrop of skulls, his cape billowing overhead and tension radiating from every line of his clenched jaw — it's a striking, almost oppressive image that sets a fittingly grim tone for "The Prisoner." Dave Sim and Gerhard collaborate on the cover art, and their combined work here shows the kind of confident draftsmanship that made Cerebus one of independent comics' most ambitious long-form projects of the 1980s. Issue #93 from December 1986 is a solid entry point into the ongoing saga from Aardvark-Vanaheim.
